Introducing Flourish: A Joyful New Textile from Skinny laMinx
In a world that often feels heavy with uncertainty, Skinny laMinx offers a joyful counterpoint with the launch of Flourish – a lyrical new floral textile that’s as thoughtful as it is beautiful. Designed by Heather Moore, this print isn’t just a celebration of nature’s abundant beauty – it’s a reminder of our deep connection to the living world.
Bursting with leafy detail, Flourish is more than a decorative pattern. Look closely, and you’ll spot insects tucked between the blooms – a subtle but powerful nod to interdependence in nature. As Moore says, “All flourishing is mutual,” echoing the wisdom of botanist Robin Wall Kimmerer. In short: no flowers without bugs. No thriving without each other.
Available in three colourways – Charcoal, Midnight, and Poppy – the design is screen printed as upholstery fabric (R750/m) and made up into cushion covers in three sizes (40x60cm, 50x50cm, 60x60cm). For those looking to go bold, it’s also been reimagined as wallpaper in collaboration with Robin Sprong.
At its heart, Flourish is a call to pay attention. To swap doomscrolling for daydreaming. To find hope – and perhaps even purpose – in the wild beauty of leaves, petals, and tiny wings. In a time when everything urges us to disconnect, Flourish invites us to fall back in love with our messy, magnificent, shared world.
Because in the end, it’s not just about how we flourish – it’s about how we flourish together.
