VIATT 2026: Shaping the Future of Textiles and Apparel in Vietnam
In a region where the textile industry is evolving at a remarkable speed, VIATT has quickly established itself as the definitive lens through which to view its future. Returning from 26 to 28 February 2026, the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) positions itself not simply as a marketplace, but as a barometer for where the global textile conversation is heading.
Spanning the full value chain, from raw materials and yarns through to finished garments, home textiles, and advanced textile technologies, VIATT offers a rare sense of totality. Apparel fabrics sit alongside contract textiles; technical innovations meet fashion-led trend narratives. It is this breadth that sets the fair apart, creating a dialogue between creativity, manufacturing, and performance that feels both ambitious and grounded.
Following a strong second edition in 2025, the fair returns with sharpened intent. More fashion, more innovation, more sustainability, and a distinctly international energy define its growing identity. With exhibitors from 24 countries and regions, and buyers from over 70, VIATT reflects Vietnam’s expanding role as a global textile powerhouse, an industry projected to increase exports by 5.6% year on year.
Innovation takes centre stage
There is a clear focus on textile technologies shaping future growth. From advanced production processes to developments in nonwovens and performance materials, the fair recognises that the next chapter of textiles will be driven as much by science as by style. Sustainability, too, is no longer peripheral. The introduction of the Econogy initiative signals a deeper commitment to responsible sourcing, circularity, and new material intelligence, highlighted by breakthroughs such as Radici InNova’s selective dissolution recycling technology for mixed textile waste.
Beyond the stands, VIATT’s fringe programme offers insight and inspiration: trend forecasting, market intelligence, and design-led discussions that place global shifts into regional context. Daily industry highlights ensure the conversation remains current, relevant, and future-facing.
At its core, VIATT is about the connection between sectors, disciplines, and people. For designers, manufacturers, buyers, and innovators, it is where insight becomes opportunity.
Visitor registration is now open, inviting industry professionals to secure their place at a fair that doesn’t just showcase textiles, but helps shape what they become next.
