Salone del Mobile.Milano 2024

Scheduled for 16 to 21 April, Salone del Mobile.Milano will once again see the biggest and brightest stars in the interiors world converge for a magnificent showcase of art and design.

Part of Milan Design Week 2024, this year’s event will herald in the 62 edition of the fair – and a supernova of new talent and designs with 2,000 exhibitors showcasing the latest in design, decor and architecture across multiple platforms.

With a new human-centric layout designed through a collaboration between architects and neuroscientists, the fair will feature various exhibitions, site-specific installations and talks, including an installation by American filmmaker David Lynch, which can be discovered at Pavilions 5-7, and SalonSatellite – a platform geared specifically toward young designers under 35.

Other highlights of this year’s fair, which will focus on the latest product news, trends, and visions for living spaces of the future, include Pavillions 22/24 and 9/11 where you’ll find the best projects “carried out within the synergies created with some of the best designers on the international scene, exploring material-based research, the relationship between design and technology, the relationship between form and function,” says the organisers.

Pavilions 14/18, meanwhile, will showcase not only the top names in the history of Italian design but also the companies that are building on that legacy today. Pavilion 14 will also host the Talk and Round Table program “Drafting Futures. Conversations about Next Perspectives”, curated by Annalisa Rosso.

To discover the leading companies and top emerging brands in interiors, visitors should make their way to Pavilions 13/15, as well as Pavilions 1/3 and 5/7 where a host of exclusive brands will showcase their designs, with a focus on design and construction quality.

Pavilions 6/10 will showcase the latest in bathroom designs. Here, the focus will fall on sustainability and innovative solutions in terms of forms and functions, allowing for guaranteed water savings.

The latest in kitchen design and trends will be on show at Pavilions 2/4. Apart from new products, don’t miss the “All You Have Ever Wanted to Know About Food Design in Six Performances”, a day-long showcase of live experimentations by designers, chefs and artists selected by six international food magazines.

Salone del Mobile.Milano will run from 16 to 21 April across Milan, Italy.
