Design JHB: Prepare for the Ultimate Gift Guide
Media 10 is bringing back the next edition of Design Joburg, featuring Rooms on View 2018. This new edition will see greater inspiration for home decor enthusiasts and industry specialists alike, with some innovative products on offer to leave a memorable mark on the world of interior design.
Here we highlight just a few of our favourite contributors and what great gift ideas you can expect from this inspirational event that will take place next year 25 – 27 May 2018. With thousands of visitors to last year’s inaugural show, the climate proved right for a unique showcase of the very best that the local décor and design trade has to offer. The show’s curative process is set to top the maiden exhibition, with 2018 offering a larger selection of design industry trailblazers, all of whom will transform the Sandton Convention Centre into a nucleus of interior (and exterior) design talent.
Design Joburg 2018 will draw the attention of visitors to 2 major features, namely ROOMS ON VIEW and CoLabs. A stellar line-up of designers and architects includes the likes of Liam Mooney, Heather Boting, Design Dreams International, DNX Interiors, Form Interiors and Studio 19. You can expect to marvel at the creative offerings of these professionals. More established studios like Design Partnership, Studio A, Blacksmith Interiors and JVR Architects, will also be taking on mentoring roles and working with design start-ups (or should that be upstarts?!). Expect boundaries to be pushed, and some really progressive displays to evolve.
