Munich Design Expert Comes To The Design Assemblage
Renowned Munich based design expert John Wai Lam will be the international guest at The Design Assemblage (TDA) in April.
TDA has created a big buzz in the design community thanks to its array of hugely popular expert lectures, workshops and masterclasses which are open to the public and free of charge.
With more than 15 years of working experience and various global assignments as a business and design consultant, Wai Lam is a member of the global client collaboration team at Steelcase supporting multi-national accounts in pursuing their “Future of Work” vision.
Wai Lam has a design management qualification from Parsons in New York; a diploma in business administration and intercultural communication from the University of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and a master’s degree in design strategy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Design.
Wai Lam will be discussing Global Design Thinking at a talk to be held on Tuesday, April 7, at 11h00 at The Design Assemblage, 196 Oxford Road in Illovo.
“I strongly believe that design, intercultural empathy and a humanistic approach will determine a sustainable economic value,” he says.
Details of further April talks and workshops will be announced shortly. Reserve your free seat at www.thedesignassemblage.com
