Moroso Takes Centre Stage at ICFF 2025

Authorial design, contemporary vision, and Italian spirit in New York

New York, May 2025 – Moroso reaffirms its position as a leader in contemporary design with a bold presence at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), held from 18 to 20 May at New York’s Javits Center. With a dynamic program and renewed spaces, the Friulian brand showcases its creative vitality and commitment to design excellence.

A Renewed Flagship Store in Manhattan

To mark its return, Moroso has completely transformed its flagship store at 105 Madison Avenue. The new installation, first unveiled during Milan Design Week 2025, turns the showroom into a narrative space—an evolving dialogue between formal research, artistic vision, and material experimentation.

Among the standout pieces:

  • Gruuvelot Sofa by Patricia Urquiola: An organically shaped piece that invites interaction, reimagining the relationship between body and furniture.

  • Sedona Bed by Urquiola: Soft, rounded forms evoke landscapes shaped by wind and water.

  • Clay Armchair by Zanellato/Bortotto: Featuring a handcrafted ceramic backrest, turning the chair into functional sculpture.

  • Me-Time Sofa by Cinzia Cumini & Vicente Garcia Jimenez: Generous and flowing, this piece distorts traditional proportions with a modern twist.

The flagship unveiling was celebrated on Friday, 16 May, during ICFF Night Out, welcoming designers, architects, and media for a night of exchange and inspiration.

Moroso: Main Stage Partner at ICFF

Solidifying its status as a key player in international design, Moroso is an official partner of ICFF 2025. The brand takes center stage at the Javits Center with Do-Lo-Rez, the iconic sofa by Ron Arad. A radical and visionary work, the piece continues to challenge conventions and spark new conversations around form and comfort.

Casa Italiana: A Tribute to Italian Design

Moroso extends its influence through its presence at Casa Italiana, an exhibition curated by Interni Magazine and hosted at the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) on East 67th Street. Representing the finest of Italian craftsmanship, Moroso presents:

  • Shadowy Collection by Tord Boontje: Inspired by 1920s beach chairs and interpreted through African weaving techniques.

  • Morning Glory Tables by Marc Thorpe: Evoking the structural poetry of the climbing plant.

  • Spring Collection by Ron Arad: A fusion of comfort and sculptural boldness.

  • Total Flightcase (with Diesel): Storage units inspired by the rugged utility of musicians’ touring trunks.

Through these curated pieces, Moroso reinforces its commitment to the Made in Italy ethos—where bold creativity meets refined craftsmanship.

From its redesigned showroom to its influential presence on the ICFF Main Stage and in Casa Italiana, Moroso continues to lead conversations around material, memory, and modernity. At ICFF 2025, the brand once again proves that Italian design is not only a tradition but a living, evolving force shaping the future of interiors worldwide
