Heimtextil 2026: A Reimagined Design Ecosystem Takes Shape in Frankfurt
Every January, the design world turns its gaze to Frankfurt, but Heimtextil 2026 promises something entirely new. From 13 to 16 January, the world’s leading trade fair for textiles and interior design unveils a reimagined layout, fresh content formats, and a more intuitive flow designed to make inspiration easier to find, experience, and translate into projects. Think smarter pathways, stronger neighbourhoods, and an energy that pulls the industry together at the very heart of the fair.
At the core of this transformation is an optimised hall concept that clusters related sectors seamlessly. The result? Faster discovery, meaningful connections, and a trade fair journey that feels more purposeful. New knowledge hubs and trend-led installations are placed directly within the halls themselves, ensuring that insight and inspiration unfold exactly where the industry meets.
A New Centre for Interior Design
Halls 3.0, 3.1 and 4.1 become the epicentre for decorative and upholstery fabrics, wallpapers, sun-shading systems, and complete room concepts. Expect standout moments: a signature installation by Patricia Urquiola, the Interior.Architecture.Hospitality Library, and the DecoTeam’s Design Lounge, all shape this zone into a must-visit design nucleus.
Directly Connected: The World of Sleep
Hall 4.0 showcases the future of rest through Smart Bedding, from mattresses to innovative sleep systems. The new Sleep & Meet area highlights leading brands with support from the German Mattress Industry Association. Meanwhile, Halls 5 and 6 expand the story with textiles for bed, bath, table, and kitchen. Debuting in 6.1, international design studios present the Heimtextil Trends 26/27, curated in collaboration with Alcova Milano.
Carpets, Flooring & Fresh Perspectives
Halls 11 and 12 unite textile and non-textile flooring, from plush carpets to parquet, creating an unprecedented synergy for global flooring professionals. A new curated zone, The Future Floor, combines trend showcases with a dedicated talk space designed for deep dives and discussions.
Global Home, Global Home Excellence
Spread across Halls 8 to 10, Europe’s largest sourcing platform returns with renewed scale and focus. Expect leading producers, country pavilions, and unmatched opportunities to connect with international suppliers across the entire home textile spectrum.
Heimtextil 2026 isn’t just a fair; it’s a redefined ecosystem built to spark ideas, forge relationships, and map the future of interiors.
