The future of Kim Williams Design puts a strong focus on collaboration and building lasting relationships with like-minded creatives, idea-starters, and proactive doers. This expanded network enables Kim and her team to offer clients a broader range of expertise and innovative solutions. One of the most exciting aspects of this journey is the new Rakgadi range, inspired by culturally influenced prints created by fashion designer Jessica Jane Molebatsi.
Sneak Peek: Decorex 2024
The 2024 Decorex Designer Showcase is a highlight in the design calendar, and Kim Williams Design will be exhibiting their featured collaborations. This event serves as a preview of the soon-to-open Kim Williams Showroom at 10 Bella Rosa Road, Rosenpark in Durbanville, a space where people meet and creativity and innovation will come to life.
Expect to see a blend of contemporary nostalgia at the Kim Williams Design stand, where designs from the past and present come together seamlessly. Comforting shapes, colours, and materials will create a sense of familiarity and interest, reflecting our origins and current lifestyle aspirations.

Kim Williams also sits on the Management Committee of the Institute of Interior Design for Africa and the Middle East, contributing to shaping the role of interior design in these regions. As the author of “My Yellow Room,” the Cape Town-based designer provides invaluable insights for home and business owners, creatives, and budding interior designers. The second edition, released in 2023, offers a fresh perspective on design principles, emphasising the importance of well-functioning, purposeful interiors that shape lives.
