Roche Bobois: A Stylish City Apartment in Dubai
Located in the heart of Dubai, one of the most influential cities in UAE, this apartment is filled with luxurious Roche Bobois furniture, lending it a beautifully chic and stylish ambience.
The client’s brief was that they wanted a very calming and neutral pallet throughout the property. The bone-white hues with greys and blacks were thus carried out throughout the main lounge area.
Main Lounge:
Here, designers used the iconic Mah Jong seating from Roche Bobois, with a soft bronze wooden base. The last collection of Kenzo was also used, just before his passing. The ivory and black combinations of beautifully woven textiles, inspired by the kimonos were on point for this design layout. Furthermore, a custom carpet was woven in Turkey with a plush long pile to add to the luxurious feel.
Being on the water’s edge of the famous Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, the Aqua dining table in solid marble seems the ideal fit. The silhouette of the base significantly resembles a waterdrop. The Steeple dining chairs were also done in two tones with elegant black piping details. Here, the details do the talking!
Pyjama Lounge
In this area, the design team decided to bring in hues of blue and amber to create a bit more contrast. The Astrea chairs were thus done in a luxurious velutinous fabric to add to the tactile surroundings. The modular Domino range was also ideal for this lounge as it is one of the many super comfortable ranges. Furthermore, every module was upholstered in different colourways to create a rhythmic flow. The bold hues in the carpet anchor the space beautifully, with brushed pale gold coffee tables.
Patio Area:
With a breathtaking view, designers wanted nothing to pose as a distraction from the surroundings. They therefore used transparent al weather Ava chairs to ensure they visually disappear but still provide comfort. Additionally, the outdoor dining table was custom-made to softly repeat the marble flooring on the inside spaces.
Creating an indoor-outdoor entertainment space, a modular seating arrangement with backrests was chosen so that it can be moved in any direction. This ensures that the clients could have a complete 360 degrees option to entertain. The organic cluster of coffee tables creates a soft illusion of movement based on the jellyfish.
Inside and out, this home oozes luxury. Furthermore, the proof can be found in every finish and detail that adds to the whole!
Consquently, the end result is an immaculate home in a pristine location.
