Roche Bobois Presents The Whitehouse, Fresnaye

Roche Bobois presents this stunning White House, located in Fresnaye, Cape Town, recently renovated at the end of 2022 and fully furnished by Lyn Gullan with Roche Bobois Cape Town.

The design brief

The brief for this immaculate home was to furnish the full house with state-of-the-art pieces of furniture and art. As such, the client requested a complete renovation to make the home more attractive.

In the end, some rooms have been created (cinema lounge), while others have been moved (gym, main office…). Additionally, some corridors have been integrated into the living rooms to enlarge them.

Bringing new life to an inviting home

The property is situated on a corner plot in Ave Alexandra against the slopes of Lions Head and offers panoramic mountain and sea views. There are fireplaces throughout, underfloor heating, a gymnasium, plenty of outdoor terraces and a large swimming pool to enjoy.

The project was done in white with hues of black and anthracite. Gold metallics were used in the regal dining room. Comfort and design were the key elements in this property’s interior. Plush fabrics with layered detailing, therefore, surround you in this beautiful property.

Furthermore, the tranquil bedrooms are done in white with little black detailing.

Lyn Gullan is an interior designer and the CEO of the internally acclaimed Lifestyle Designs Group. She has just completed the most expensive house in Cape Town, South Africa which features Roche Bobois furniture. Her qualifications are in both interior and architectural design.
