Plascon House Tour: Sophisticated Glam

It’s been a while since we’ve toured a super chic Industrial space. Today’s home is just that and more with a beautifully edgy interior filled with luxurious urban finishes, pops of colour and a beautiful brass bathtub that we simply can’t ignore! It’s the ultimate in sophisticated glam!

Pink is typically a very bold and feminine colour to be used in interior design. In this living room, however, the softness of the pink is juxtaposed against a raw brick ceiling. The use of such a harsh interior finish actually balances the femininity of the colour scheme and brings a beautiful contrast to this space. Boasting high ceilings and a playful mix of prints and colour, the living room comes together in true style!

Far from the fanciful pink living room, the kitchen is covered in dark grey, from the ceilings down! We love the industrial ambiance which is enhanced by the use of exposed copper piping, wooden beams and open shelving. Metal and wood combine in modern bar stools that add to the wonderful urban vibe of this space. White light pendants, striking accent decor and painted brickwork complete this room – an ideal spot for meal preparation and family entertainment.

The bedroom is a luxurious haven of soft shades, mixed textiles and uber chic comfort. Grey velvet occasional chairs are spectacular here and we love the striking choice of artwork above the bed. The mix of plush textures and cooling colours help to create a tranquil retreat. The industrial design does not overwhelm in this space but brings a sense of richness to the room with unfinished walls, copper piping and a gorgeous industrial-chic light pendant above the bed.

We are also drooling over this glorious raw yet elegant bathroom. The concrete-look walls and stone finishes add an urban edginess but that bath is the real showstopper in this space! Twin sinks, monochrome artwork and copper elements add to the sophisticated glam look!
