LUX* Grand Baie Mauritius – Designed by Kelly Hoppen
A Modernist Jewel on the Island’s Northern Shore
LUX* Grand Baie, a striking modernist resort nestled on a pristine crescent of sand in northern Mauritius, redefines boutique luxury. Designed for the modern traveler, this next-generation hideaway captures the seductive rhythm of island living—slow and soothing, yet vibrant and full of energy. Reflecting the spirit of the lively beach town from which it takes its name, LUX* Grand Baie is both elegant and playful, offering guests a unique blend of relaxation and celebration.
From its breath-taking rooftop experiences to its unparalleled culinary offerings, every corner of the resort invites guests to seize the moment and live fully.
Design by Kelly Hoppen Interiors: A Harmonious Fusion of Land, Sea, and Style
The interior vision for LUX* Grand Baie is brought to life by Kelly Hoppen Interiors, led by the globally renowned designer Kelly Hoppen CBE. With a career spanning over four decades, Hoppen approached the project with a desire to reflect the natural beauty of Mauritius in a way that is vibrant, elegant, and enduring.
Her signature aesthetic—a seamless fusion of East and West, marked by clean lines, neutral palettes, and layered textures—complements the architecture of Jean-Francois Adam, one of Mauritius’ leading architects. Together, their work forms a cohesive dialogue between the resort and its surroundings: the turquoise lagoon, lush tropical gardens, and powder-white beaches.
Every element of the design is crafted with timelessness in mind, ensuring a tranquil, sustainable, and luxurious haven for all who visit.
