Task Interior Styling is a boutique décor firm dedicated to creating custom-tailored spaces through innovative and curated style choices. Whether a home, office, event or lifestyle brief, their approach is always to provide a personalised touch in bringing a client’s ideas to reality.

Task Interior Styling provides an array of service offerings including: space conceptualisation; curated sourcing; interior styling; and project management services.

Task Interior Styling was founded in 2016 by interior stylist and businesswoman, Mali Langa. Previously operational under a different name, the company embarked on a major brand refresh initiative creating a fresh aesthetic and refining the core messaging for what is today Task Interior Styling.

“It was always born out of my love for beautiful pieces,” says Mali. “From a young age, I’d watch my aunt go about filling her home with interesting decorations, rugs, furniture, curtains and she’d always style them in a way that was so different but so modern. I liked that.”

Mali has therefore been designing all her life. It started with playing dolls, choosing their clothes and realizing she loved patterns, design & texture…. At Task Interior Styling, design is a passion. Design is therapy as the team take the stress of your brief and channel it into something #vava!!

After starting out as just a hobby, Mali put her skills to the test on her first project, a private residential home where she was presented with the opportunity to make an empty shell into a unique yet intimate space a family could call home. The success thereof confirmed that there was no doubt her passion and unique eye for style and beauty deserved a chance in the big leagues.

Mali has remained true to her crux, advocating for innovation through collaboration as the foundation for T.I.S. “I’ve built the business from an infant idea through collaborating with the right team, enabling creativity and innovation to flourish.
