Consentino Collaborates with Local Furniture Designers at Decorex Joburg

Following a dazzling display at Decorex Cape Town, Cosentino is bringing its Atelier Cosentino stand to Decorex Joburg. Expect exquisite collaborations with local furniture designers and much, much more!

The 30th-anniversary edition of this renowned event is taking design to new heights, and the leading Spanish surfacing brand is joining the celebrations.

Haldane Martin

At Decorex Cape Town in June, Cosentino debuted its spectacular collaborations with Capetonian furniture design brands Haldane Martin and MŪVEK. Atelier Cosentino at Decorex Joburg will see the return of Haldane Martin’s designer furniture, plus a brand-new collaboration with The Grand Living. Located in the dedicated Kitchens & Bathrooms hall on Level 0 of the Sandton Convention Centre, this exciting display of cutting-edge furniture design is set to be a highlight of the Joburg show.

Haldane Martin, the eponymous brand of premium outdoor furniture designer and director Haldane Martin, is known for its strong visual identity and South African character. Following its debut at Decorex Cape Town, Haldane Martin’s brand-new Dombolo outdoor table will be displayed for the first time in Joburg. This voluptuous piece, named after the Xhosa word for dumplings, is topped with Cosentino’s Dekton Umber from the Kraftizen Collection, a durable engineered stone with a hand-plastered stucco surface effect. Paired with intentionally oversized legs, this table’s appealingly organic shape is perfect for outdoor areas.

The Grand Living

A never-before-seen collaboration with The Grand Living will be making its debut at Decorex Joburg. The Grand Living has been introducing tailor-made elegance and style into homes across South Africa with its bespoke furniture pieces since 2010. Long-time fans of Cosentino’s Dekton, they jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with one of their favourite brands on a new range of furniture. The resulting collection will be showcasing the designer potential of this surface at Decorex Joburg 2023.

These two collaborations will be exhibited alongside over 250 other local and international brands, each of which will be bringing its cutting-edge designs to the 30th-anniversary edition of Decorex Joburg.
