Design Intervention Presents An Uber-Luxurious Penthouse in Bangkok

With sprawling views of the city down below, this bold penthouse is perched on top of the five-star St Regis Hotel in Bangkok. It is the epitome of luxury living, beautifully put together by Design Intervention. Some have labelled this immaculate residence a castle in the sky!

Breathtaking views become the main feature in this apartment. The owner wanted to make the most of the space and so called on the prowess of a renowned design firm to reinvent the space to suit his modern lifestyle.

The client dreamed of a distinct and unique living space with items that had never been seen before. He brought in the team from Design Intervention all the way from Singapore to bring his vision to life. As a result, the team custom designed many of the rooms and furnishings to suit the client. The aim was certainly to wow with a powerful dose of colour and texture to catch the eye in every room.

The design team

Design Intervention was established in 2004 and is helmed by partners Nikki Hunt and Andrea Savage. Over the past several years they have garnered a multitude of awards and accolades, at the national, regional and global levels, across the full spectrum of the design field including public sector, retail, leisure, architecture, office, product and residential design. But their greatest achievement will always be the creation of environments that put a smile on the faces of clients.

Naturally, the penthouse was redesigned with an open plan layout to fully maximise the amazing views. Large windows frame the city down below and create an awe-inspiring ambience in the living spaces.Each room was carefully crafted – specifically designed and tailored to the client’s unique tastes and preferences. An avid entertainer, the owner also wanted luxurious spaces in which to enjoy life with family and friends.

A bold mix of glass, wood, gold and stone are incorporated into this lavish home. The result is an uber-luxurious abode with much to offer. Every item adds to the splendour of this penthouse and beckons us to take a closer look.
