Caesarstone’s Student Designer 2019: Objects in Space
Every year Caesarstone invites South Africa’s design institutions and universities to participate in the annual Student Designer competition. They are now in their 12th year and cannot wait to see what the 2019 entrants have to offer.
This year the 2019 brief discusses a real-life client, to expose and immerse the students into the reality of the architecture and design industry. The proposal is to design Tenebris Lab’s first concept store. The building should reflect the brand’s innovative identity, personify its technology-first values, and showcase the products and services it provides.
We are so excite about the possibilities. Watch the below Video as Michele Rhoda from ARRCC discusses this year’s brief:
About Caesarstone:
Caesarstone is the original quartz surface manufacturing company and also the name of the luxury engineered quartz surface product that comes with a lifetime warranty. Caesarstone quartz surfaces are ideal for virtually any interior surface from kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities and stairs, to wall panelling and interior furniture. It also offers an attractive and versatile finish for commercial and institutional buildings. The quartz surfacing is tough enough to handle the wear-and-tear risks of high traffic interior spaces, and beautiful enough to complement any design scheme.
