ARRCC: From Concept To Completion
2018 will see various ARRCC projects across the globe reach completion. Working with the on-site teams and seeing designs become reality is one of ARRCC’s most rewarding aspects of interior design.
For an ongoing project in Bantry Bay, Cape Town, South Africa, ARRCC translated the client’s ‘Jewellery Box’ brief into a design that is clean and compact, with emphasis on pockets of embellished interest within the home. Leather wall cladding, textured wallpaper, polished timbers and rich velvet upholstery were used to achieve the desired effect. This project will be completed within the next month. A signature project in collaboration with SAOTA, sees a seaside project due for completion mid-2018. The design approach was to do justice to the beautiful architecture, while making each of the spaces feel entirely unique. The ARRCC team explored different materials, pushing the boundaries of the forms and shapes created. The client’s brief for a contemporary palette with an ‘ethnic-chic’ beat gave them the opportunity to give each space a definitive identity. Also due for completion mid-year, this Bahamas project is a contemporary, yet chic and elegant design. The colour palette compliments the architecture of the house with slightly more unconventional fabric choices matching the client’s youthful style. One of the first projects in India will be completed at the end of the year. With no two spaces sharing the same palette, this home exudes a complex mix of exotic materials, finishes and fabrics. Unexpected combinations of metallics punctuate the spaces with delicate richness and elegance. Visit www.arrcc.com for more information on projects.
