Specialising in interiors, architecture, and urban design, Gauteng-based multidisciplinary design studio StudiA focuses on providing each client with unique, tailor-made solutions for their projects.

“Our vision is to shape spaces and buildings around the needs of the people who inhabit them, ensuring an intimate human experience of the built environment,” says creative director and founder, Anja Olivier.

“With our passion for design,  architecture, art, Africa and anthropology StudiA provides authentic design solutions for every client, whether individuals or communities.”

Anja, who holds qualifications in architecture and urban design, as well as interior architecture, anthropology and property development is well placed to not only help clients with various aspects of a project but also to provide a holistic view and approach to the final design.

“We believe in adding value and making a difference – our multidisciplinary background uniquely contributes to our wide range of services in the planning and development sector that includes Architecture, Interior Design, Art Consultancy, Refurbishments, Spatial Planning, Urban Design, as well as research related to the built environment,” she says.

With such a wealth of knowledge, the multidisciplinary studio offers urban design and spatial planning services, as well as architecture, interior design and research services.

“We believe that our passion for both the built environment and the human element makes the perfect combination to use our skills to enhance the places we live in and use every day.  Our experience in both the private and public sectors has afforded us the opportunity to see the picture from both sides. We strongly believe in making a difference in the world, with a focus on Africa and its developing areas,” Anja adds.
