Plascon House Tour: A Vibrant Holiday Abode

Today we are touring an energy-filled vacation home in Vashon Island, USA, where a mix of vintage and traditional furniture comes to life in a vibrant display. 

This home is filled with little details that add up to create a big style statement. From the clever use of overhead space as a library nook, to the vintage styled furniture scattered throughout this abode, the atmosphere is warm and inviting with a traditional touch. We love the pastel blue cabinetry in the kitchen – it adds a refreshing vibe that is visually stimulating. In the dining room, old meets new, with modern white wooden walls and ceiling juxtaposed with vintage finds such as the ‘eat’ sign and reclaimed wooden dining table that takes centre stage here. Classic leather-upholstered dining chairs add charisma in this space, and the use of a bright statement rug brings warmth and colour to this interior. In the bedroom, we also see an eclectic mix of furniture and accent decor, with a vintage light fitting against the ceiling, and a classic wooden dresser incorporated into the room. The earthy tones of the dresser does much to add contrast against the white wooden structure of the room.
