Plascon House Tour: Urban Entertainment On A New Level
Step inside this gorgeous family home in west London which has certainly been designed with entertainment in mind. It’s urban living on a whole new level.
High ceilings, elongated windows and ornate details including window shutters and vintage lighting, create depth in this fascinating retreat. The living spaces feel breezy and light – the perfect spot for enjoying some down time with your loved ones.
The choice of modern furniture creates a contemporary feel – with corner sofa and striking area rug that infuses colour and pattern into this room. A relaxed and casual space – ideal for watching television and spending time with the kids.
The kitchen is a tad more playful with a fun orange tone that surfaces in this space – to bring colour to the kitchen cabinetry as bold door fronts. A beautiful kitchen island adds to the surface and prep space in this layout and we love how the room doesn’t feel closed in, thanks to patio doors that add light and air in this space. Built-in storage has cleverly been incorporated into the kitchen island which houses recipe books, pots and utensils needed for everyday kitchen experiences with the family.
The bathroom has an urban appeal to it with frameless glass shower doors and a concrete look interior that adds a rustic, industrial edge to the design. Again the emphasis here is on light and air – with sanded down wooden floors, white walls and ample natural light that adds to the brightness of this room. We love the connection it has to the rest of the home (similar colour palette and floors) and that it serves as the master ensuite – a place of retreat for the owners.
The bedroom is a place of calm and cool tones. We love the quirky art above the bed which adds a little splash of colour and personality to this space. Off white tones with grey, black and hints of blue create a crisp setting – and we love the layered look with bold patterned throw and shimmery metallic side table. Long flowy drapes that extend to the floors brings a luxury ambience to this serene space.
