This designer home packs a punch in striking colours and a rich energy that overwhelms the senses! There is so much to look at here, from beautiful prints to bold furniture in stunning hues – all adding a richness and vibrancy to this Spanish home in Algorta.
The living room is fresh and intriguing in bursts of marvellous colour, from a striking area rug in bold red and white, to a refreshing gallery wall of vibrant prints above an iconic blue sofa. We love the thoughtful use of colour and greenery in this space, in the creation of a calming, happy and energy-filled family abode. In the kitchen nook, we love the bold use of mint green light pendants, together with a more rustic metal light above the table area – adding old-world charm here. Modern white cabinets and trendy white subway tiles add a contemporary feel and a beautifully textured wall on the far end adds depth and subtle contrast that works well in this space. Wooden floors add richness and colour and we love the playful splashes of colour throughout the kitchen. The bedroom embraces the modern greenery trend with a vibrant print on the mater bed that brings in colour and hints of the natural world outdoors. Pops of florals and greenery are carried through to the scatter cushions, minimalist frames above the headboard and even the gorgeous patterned lampshade next to the windows. The use of yellow as an accent colour further adds zest and excitement in this bedroom. We also love the playful children’s room which is thoughtfully kitted out with a day bed, teepee and an array of vintage and wooden toys. The loft-style ceiling with window adds character here and we also appreciate the freshness of the white walls against a blue sky peering inside. The green ay bed is definitely an eye-catching piece – and together with hints of colour in accent pieces such as a red side table and blue chair, suggest that this is indeed a place of adventure and play. The geometric prints of the area rug also complement the playful nature of this fun room. Contact: Plascon Via
