House Tour: Spotlight on Ken Fulk
Independently trained interior design Ken Fulk, has been in the business of curating gorgeous homes for the past fifteen years. All-at-once dramatic and glamorous, we took inspiration from his luxury-residence project in Sillicon Valley for the Harrison, a condominium building in SOMA, a well-known neighborhood in San Francisco.
What we love about this home is the emerald green, jewel-tones of the dining area. The colour is simultaneously beautiful and striking and creates a warm and livable space. A playful, faux fur printed armchair is a great colour-breaker, in conjunction with the warm wooden table chairs.
The bathroom is another stunning space, where neutral wall cladding makes an appearance for a lovely bit of texture in a usually stark room. We love the gold-rimmed mirrors and fittings.
Another key feature is the overlooked use of rugs as artwork in the more neutral spaces of the living area and kitchen. We are in love with the textured, skyline-inspired rug in the kitchen- a bit of modernity that reflects the city of origin.
