House Tour: A mix of the desert, Route 66 & the coast
In order to achieve this glorified rendition of the contemporary bohemian resurgence, a major renovation was completed. We’re seeing a lot of couples coming in, investing in the property and ridding it of its 90’s fittings and colour schemes and being replaced with monochromatic laid back decor and ideas. We love the algorithm and sequence of the layers, colours and contours in this house. There is a specific gem about the desert means Route 66 meets the coast. A rustic country tones comes through with the use of wood and the bohemian exterior definitely comes through in cushions, quilts and hanging light. Everything in the house was custom-made, which made almost everything in the house to be just what they want. The succulents and art really aid to the overall look, and as much as there has been done, it still seems pretty basic, uncomplicated and easy to live in and navigate around.
