House Tour: In the old town of Gdansk
The old Polish town of Gdansk is the perfect setting for this house tour. A feat of the imagination, with an emphasis on natural elements like wood and concrete, we find this home to be incredibly elegant and interesting.
We start our tour in the lounge area, where a gorgeous piece of raw wood acts as the statement piece of the room. Set against the backdrop of raw concrete, we love the use of texture in this space.
In keeping with the minimalist trend, this home features a mixed use of wooden elements that keep it modern and exciting.
Arguably the best feature in this home is the OBS (Oriented Strand Board) wall in the bathroom. This interesting choice of walling contrasts so well with the mosaic patterned tiles and simple decor. It is elements like this that transform this home into a fashionable take on the unusual.
