Plascon House Tour: Beach House
Not in any way your average beach house, today’s home is the ultimate in seaside luxury. Packed with modern details and gorgeous finishes, it oozes glamorous living and simple perfection.
There is a definite boho vibe going on in this house with its eclectic mix of soft furnishings and accessories. However, balance is achieved through its muted colour palette and wide open spaces.
After living here for eight years, the owners opted for a complete knock-down rebuild, demolishing the old weatherboard cottage to create their dream beach home. And we can see why. The end result is a marvellous creation – blissful in earthy, modern finishes.
In the dining room, a solid wood table takes centre stage, paired with Morrocon chairs and a mud beaded dome light. Indian grinder stools and custom seating complete the look of this designer space.
The bathroom is sheer luxury with a custom chandelier and a beautiful freestanding tub in the centre of the room. Concrete floor tiles ooze industrial chic style and we love the earthiness created in this zen bathroom.
The bedroom too is a haven with custom lighting and furniture that keeps to a low-key muted colour palette. Overall a refreshing and inspired space!
