Paul Smith Homeware Collection
Known for his iconic menswear with its signature multi-coloured stripes, UK fashion designer Sir Paul Smith just unveiled his first-ever homeware collection.
The inaugural range by the fashion house, of course, also sports the characteristic stripe design on a contrasting background that the designer has become known and loved for.
As the fashion house notes: it’s a “sophisticated collection that speaks to the timelessness of the stripe”.
The AW 2022 range features a selection of blankets in lambswool and cashmere, scatter cushions – some in cotton, some with a beautiful hand-crafted crewel embroidery design – and luxurious cotton-terry towels with a woven signature stripe jacquard edge (available in three sizes: hand towels, bath towels and sheets) – all in a variety of juicy, citrus, navy blue and forest green hues.
Commenting on the expansion into the homeware market, the designer says: “How you choose to decorate your home is as personal to any individual as what you choose to wear. With my new collection of pieces for the home I’ve tried to design items that bring some colour and joy, inspire you and never fail to put a smile on your face.”
Our favourites include the Faded Edge Reversible Lambswool Blanket with its multicoloured stripe pattern and the Signature Stripe Cushion in Orange and Mustard for a bright pop of colour. Also available as bolster cushions, these cushions are just perfect for injection an outdoor entertainment space with some vibrant colour (and designer cred) this summer.
