Created by Thomas Bentzen, Studio Kaksikko and Earnest Studio, the designs speak not only of immense creativity but also a desire to create new icons in design.

Here, we take a closer look at their latest stand-out designs:

Two-Layer Pendant by Thomas Bentzen

The Two-Layer Pendant is a mouth-blown glass pendant designed by frequent collaborator Thomas Bentzen. 

“Developed over a significant stretch of time, the pendant exemplifies Muuto’s commitment to forward-thinking design, high-quality production and new material perspectives,” says the company. “The Two-Layer Pendant is a new perspective on a classic glass pendant. The Many ripples in the glass create an intriguing optical effect, which distorts the inner view of the pendant, making it different from every single angle.”

“The Ridge Vase Glass presents a new way of displaying flowers through its sculptural expression and artful character when not used,” explains Muuto. “Its sandblasted semi-transparent frosty finish allows the beauty of flowers and their stems to peek through, creating depth and a beautiful interplay. Made from 100% mouthblown glass, the vase is available in clear and full colours mixed into the glass to prevent peeling.”

“The Ridge Planter brings the elegant, sculptural expression of the Ridge vase to a versatile, functional planter, perfect for adding a touch of nature indoors,” says Muuto. “Crafted from high-quality earthenware, Ridge Planter features a matte exterior, a ribbed edge, and a glazed interior for an organic, deep look. Subtle handles on each side facilitate easy movement between spaces.”

New Large Kink Vase by Earnest Studio

“The Kink Vase brings a contemporary form to the archetypal flower vase through traditional craftsmanship and playful design language,” notes Muuto. “An iconic design in the Muuto collection, Kink is now available in a new large size, ideal for sculptural arrangments on the floor or table.”

New Colours for Ply Rug by Magrethe Odgaard

“Made from 100% recycled polyester from post-consumer waste, the Ply Rug Recycled Polyester provides a homey, tactile experience,” says Muuto. “Its durable, moisture-resistant design is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, making it an excellent choice for high-traffic areas like kitchens and lobbies but also ideal for patios and garden seating areas. Now also available in Light Blue and Moss Green.”

New Colour for Arced Mirror by Rhys Cooper

“We are pleased to also launch the Arced Mirror in two new colours: Midnight Blue and Spruce,” says the company. “Blending a traditional wooden mirror style with a modern touch. The Arced Mirror comes in two versatile sizes and features a subtle frame recess, giving it a charming window-like allure that brings forth the natural character and grain of the spruce wood.”
