Mungo: Festive Table Linen For An Inspired Setting
Has festive season hosting got you wondering about your table? In need of the perfect backdrop to your Christmas roast? Looking for linens to feel good about? We’ve got your table covered with the latest linen from Mungo.
Beautiful natural fibre linens are individually woven at the Mungo Mill in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. Here are some of our favourite tablecloths, runners and napkins, perfect for elevating the occasion.
Otter Trail
A vibrant range of thick, pure cotton tablecloths with a bold, intricately detailed
stripe that runs down the centre. The colours, detail and texture are inspired by the vivid hues seen whilst walking the Otter Trail.
Selvedge
The Selvedge Serviette is the largest napkin in the range, woven from pure
Italian flax. The idea behind the Selvedge Serviette came from a family holiday, when
laundry wasn’t high on the list of priorities and napkins were reused several nights in a row. By assigning a colour to each family member, there was no confusion over whose napkin was whose.
Now available in 12 different colourways – one for every guest.
Mali Runner
Rich in pattern and texture, the Mungo Mali Cloth is a sturdy cotton table runner
inspired by the lateral geometric patterns of the famous West African strip cloth.
Provincial Stripe:
Woven from a cotton warp and a linen weft, this elegant cloth champions the best of both fibres – the luxurious, fresh finish of linen and the soft drape of cotton.
Lisburn Linen
This elegant table runner is inspired by traditional French sacking material, where colourful stripes helped farmers identify their grain. Today the iconic vintage
grain sack has become a feature of rustic provincial decor, perfectly captured in the
simple yet refined Lisburn Linen. Woven with a blend of cotton and linen, for a perfect marriage of durability, soft drape and lofty handle.
Boma Napkins
A generously sized napkin, inspired by the rugged tones and earthy hues of the South
African landscape. Geometric patterns add a rich texture, complemented by the warm colours of fall. Perfectly suited to a Thanksgiving with a touch of African flair.
Available in 12 rich colours – one for every member of the family.
