Kare Design: Delicious Lavender, Vanilla & Mint – Living in Pastels
We’re having a serious love affair with pastels at the moment. Beautifully feminine and intriguing in lovely lavender, sensual vanilla and majestic mint. It’s a season of sorbet tones over at Kare Design.
The trio of mint, vanilla and lavender is particularly delicate. Pastels score as softeners and lend interiors in cream a special aroma. Among them also mauve, the grown-up sister of pink.
Fun and Feminine in the Bedroom
Kare Design celebrates the beauty of pastels in this styled bedroom. Here the East Side Bed (below) takes centre stage. With this beautiful bed, sensuous elegance enters the bedroom or guest room. Its pure design and neutral colour provide peace and quiet, while the upholstered headboard ensures comfort and convenient chilling at any time of day or night.
Paired with brass accents like the Solo Brass Table Lamp from Kare Design, and we have a luxurious interior scheme that is perfectly on trend!
Whether in a bedroom, living room or dining area, the combination of trendy pastels creates a winning colour palette.
Top tip: Rooms in soft tones need contrasts. We recommend as accompaniment: grained marble and ceramic surfaces, graphic patterns and terrazzo. Enjoy this feast for the eyes!
We love the combo of woody tones with cream upholstered seating in this perfectly pastel room (above). Pops of fresh greenery add a burst of freshness to this space.
If you’re planning to revamp a room, or your entire house, pastels are a great choice. Shop the look at Kare Design.
