Kitchen Table Transformations With Annie Sloan Chalk Paint

As we are all spending so much time indoors, let’s feel inspired to create beautiful spaces inside our home. Annie Sloan shares some remarkable furniture transformations and kitchen table ideas using Chalk Paint. Let these designs inspire your next project…

This first piece was painted by Forgotten Gems Chic, a furniture painter in the UK. We absolutely love how she’s dressed this sideboard with gorgeous florals and used White Chalk Paint® Wax on the edges and handles to give extra softness.

Next, for your viewing pleasure, this chest of drawers in Chalk Paint in Olive is by Green Spruce Designs. Like the previous piece, Green Spruce also painted the hardware on this similarly detailed style of furniture. It’s a great way to make things look little more modern and clean. Additions of Chalk Paint in Old White and Dark Chalk Paint Wax give this piece nuance and emphasise the velvety finish that Chalk Paint is so loved for.

And finally, Annie Sloan has taken the time to share a Youtube tutorial on painting kitchen tables! It’s something that can certainly make a big impact in the home. Annie Sloan used Chalk Paint® in Original for a crisp and clean farmhouse look. The key here is to be methodical in your painting and your application of Chalk Paint® Lacquer for MAXIMUM durability. Kitchen tables often see tears, tantrums, tea parties and everything in between so it needs to be able to withstand whatever the grandchildren throw at it.
