Christmas Inspiration Is Here
The countdown to Christmas has begun and if you’re pretty much set with gift shopping, you better start thinking about that all-important mealtime prep and Christmas decor to make your day that much more special.
Here we share some of our favourite trends wrapped up in one beautifully simple and natural abode. Rustic finishes, soft, muted tones, wood, fir branches and candles set the perfect atmosphere that we can’t wait to recreate during our own Christmas celebrations this year. Keep things simple and elegant. Forget over the top tinsel and explosions of colour. What works in the below setting is a natural arrangement of plants, leaves and branches for a beautifully crisp and natural celebration of the season. Think rustic wood to set the tone. Bring this in with natural wood place settings. Sliced logs work wonderfully and can be used for everything from food platters to name placemarks or even a cake stand. Below, a simple log slice is used as a stand for a glorious potted tree. Hints of metallics will instantly elevate your Christmas decor. Think pops of gold, bronze or metal accents, such as the below vases grouped together as a focal point on the main table. Instead of a conventional Christmas tree in bright shades of red and green, we are so loving the minimalist approach as depicted in the below scene with a two-dimensional wooden tree in natural and black, in two sizes, against a wall. Add a few sprigs of branches and greenery to the room, and complete a truly festive atmosphere with wooden stars which you can place directly on the table or add to your walls for a subtle hint at the Christmas season. Keep things neutral and classy and you won’t be disappointed! Shop here Images Via
