Celebrating Natural Beauty with Anita’s Interiors
The beauty of natural homeware and furniture is that is has the ability to bring the outside in. Ingrid Meyer from Anita’s Interiors currently designs many of her spaces and interiors with natural products – creating beautiful, timeless spaces that are streamlined and natural.
Think wooden pieces, natural fabrics and ceramics. At Anita’s Interiors, colours and fabris are kept light, fresh and natural. Nature becomes the inspiration and spaces move and bend according to the feel, flow and characteristics of the natural world.
Much of Ingrid’s palette is warm golds, rose golds and pinks. Blue however remains a popular colour through winter. Add some of these tones to your home and bring a little sparkle to your favourite rooms.
Ingrid also enjoys using pieces and spaces that the client already has, and re-purposing these. She has an unusual knack of taking an old and well-loved piece of furniture and up-cycling it through re-foaming and re-upholstering furniture. Many clients send their pieces to Ingrid to be repainted and re-upholstered – which in turn adds value to the piece and reduces the carbon footprint. Ingrid also encourages one-of-kind pieces that are worthy investments in any home. Your one-of-a-kind item will become a prized possession – a much loved statement piece in your house.
Furthermore, Anita’s Interiors deals with custom-made curtains, furniture and unique décor. They specialise in motorised curtains and blinds which enhance convenience and style. They also supply many wall papers, paint techniques and other home decorating ideas. Anita’s Interiors is one of a kind – providing clients with individualised attention and ensuring that they are able to turn their house a home.
