Casa Lv: Glassware
More is more, right? Well, we have to agree when it comes to grouping beautiful glassware and accessories.
Especially, Casa LV’s gorgeous glassware.
A collaborative effort between two friends, Lynne and Vilma, Casa LV was established in Cape Town in 2017. Committed to crafting artisanal pieces brimming with creativity, craftsmanship and colour, each piece is designed locally and individually mouth-blown at their studio, making it utterly unique.
“A simple vase on its own can be a statement, but when it’s grouped, it becomes an eye-catching installation,” says the duo. “For maximum visual impact, group glassware of varying heights or group together contrasting colours for added flair.”
Here are some fun ideas with vases:
1. Turn your vases into planters! Just fill them with water, and you can grow all sorts of plants. Bamboo, in particular, thrives in a vase because it loves both the water and the snug space. So it’s a perfect match!
2. Use a tall vase to display all your nail polishes. Keep it on your mirrored dresser for a colourful addition to your dressing space.
3. Arrange fruits in it. Instead of using any old boring glass bowl, use a pretty coloured wide-mouthed vase to display fruit on your dining table.
4. Why not use a tall, colourful vase as a wooden spoon holder? It’s perfect for keeping spoons handy and adds a charming rustic touch to your kitchen decor.
5. And if you’re looking to create a cosy atmosphere, try using a vase (or a few) as candleholders on your coffee table. It’s a simple way to add warmth and style to your space!
