The Platform Gallery: Art for Conservation Auction

We are thrilled to announce that the Art For Conservation (ARC) Auction is happening on 3 March 2023 both online and at an auction event (which will take place at Far Side Farm in the KZN Midlands). Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to invest in some of South Africa’s most amazing creative talents!

There is also a presiding option available for people who are not able to attend online/physically on the 3rd.

One-of-a-kind fine art collection

This year’s ARC Auction is the 2nd event of its kind after a successful inaugural event which happened last year. The 2022 event raised R500,000 for the conservation of Wild Dog, Pangolin and Rhino.

The team behind The Platform Gallery has curated a one-of-a-kind fine art collection spanning across mediums to delight even the most ardent collectors. The works have been created by some of South Africa’s most exciting artists, which include Mbongeni Buthelezi, Keith Calder, Anton Smit, Carl Roberts, Sarah Richards, Rory Cox… to name a few!

As well as an array of artworks being auctioned there are several unique and interactive experiences sponsored by Zebra Hills Safari Lodge and The Zululand Conservation Trust. This includes a Rhino dehorning (3 nights for up to 20 people). It also includes a Pangolin Walk, where guests will have access to a part of the park which is not open to the public and the winning bid will see these incredible endangered species up close.
