Louis Minnaar Art: Abstract Expressions That Speak To The Soul
Add colour and life to your favourite spaces with unique artworks that speak to the soul. Today we are inspired by the work of local artist Louis Minnaar and how his many creations bring vibrancy and depth to any setting.
Art has a way of communicating to the human spirit without words. Louis Minnaar produces hand-painted, original creations that evoke emotion and draws us in. Each piece is made from high-quality acrylic paint on composite wood box canvasses.
Says Louis: “What I really love about painting is that it is so different from making any kind of graphic on a computer. It’s as if another part of my brain is activated when I paint. No undo button, no re-colour button. Only redo…”
As a visual artist based in Pretoria, Louis’s work is an exciting mix of colour and rich graphics. His creations are therefore an expression of himself and can be interpreted in many different ways. We love the depth of each piece which tells its own story.
