Hamilton Art for the holidays
With the festive season well on its way, now is the perfect time to buy yourself or your loved ones a stunning piece of art that will brighten up your space for years to come. Hamilton Gallery specializes in showing a wide variety of artwork at a wide variety of prices to suit all client needs. The prints, smaller paintings, and original artworks on paper are perfectly suited as gifts for your loved ones this holiday.
These stunning original paintings by artist Marion Fuchs feature flowers from her garden painted in a bright and almost photorealistic way. The colourful flowers are each arranged in a ceramic bowl and viewed from the top against different beautifully patterned backgrounds. While they each have their own character, these paintings work wonderfully together and would be perfect bought in a set of two or three.
The artist Pierre Botha is a prolific painter and produces countless unique landscape scenes of his favourite views of the Karoo. We have a wide variety of sizes of our beautiful landscape paintings ranging from our very small 10 x 10 cm to a larger canvas of 50 x 25 cm, and everything in between.
One of the most popular print series is the Salt River series by Dave Roberston. These prints feature photographs of the Salt River area artfully altered with paint and ink to give them a contemporary and modernist look – perfectly suited to bring a pop of colour, texture, and intrigue to any space. Hamilton Gallery also offers quite a few original Salt River artworks, beautifully framed, for those who would prefer a one of a kind.
Artist Greta McMahon specialises in painting and printmaking, and there are some stunning examples of her work for sale. Prints of her serene oil paintings of mountain scenes along with her collage work prints with touches of gold leaf, all printed on high quality artists paper, would make a perfect addition to any wall.
Stop by Hamilton Gallery this festive season where the team is always eager to help you find the perfect artwork for you or a loved one or get in touch on any of the digital platforms where they are more than happy to assist.
