Plascon House Tour: Urban Meets Vintage Living

Sleek, modern with a vintage twist, this home boasts our favourite colour combinations of pastel blue and white, with a perfectly manicured urban garden to boot. It is a feast to behold!

The living room is totally blissful is baby blue with gorgeous wooden flooring and sleek white moulding with high skirting that adds a more traditional touch to this space. A window seat is idyllic here and we love the leaf-printed blinds that bring colour and pattern to this beautifully serene space. A simple gallery wall of art, a statement brown leather sofa and let’s not forget the family pet… all add to the comfortable and stylish interior.

The dining room feels bright and modern and yet serene and simple. Ornate glass light pendants add a stylish element above a minimalist table. A range of art, ceramics, florals and glass vases add to the finer details of this room. A collection of art and photography are displayed all around the house. Some paintings are heirlooms, while photography also adds a fresh touch to the interior.

Opening up into the kitchen, the dining and kitchen area create a perfect family space for entertainment. Gorgeous dark kitchen cabinets are on trend, and with statement gold hardware, the kitchen gets a sense of timeless appeal which also ties into the original Victorian style of this period home. Vintage lighting adds a touch of colour that ties into the room’s colour scheme.

It’s all about the outdoors in this stunning home. Fold-back doors open up to immaculate garden views and a tiny courtyard with urban garden and outdoor dining facilities. A lengthy, rutted slope was turned into a series of stepped levels that are now filled with blooms. The colours abound in this gorgeous space and are a welcome addition to both the exterior and interior spaces of this abode.
