Plascon House Tour: Living with Colour

Neutral designs are very much on trend at the moment, but every now and then we encounter a wonderfully colourful home that reminds us of the sheer power of bright hues in creating a magnificently vibrant and lively space! Today’s house tour takes us into a home filled to the brim with bold colours. It’s a happy, energetic and cosy space!

A mix of fun colours adds a playfulness to this home. From the kitchen and eating nook to the living spaces and bedrooms. Colour is embraced in full force and we love the eclectic ambience it brings to this family abode.

On one end of the kitchen, wooden panels add a rich timber tone to the space, covered in an eclectic mix of art and interesting metal storage.

The living space is a cheerful and welcoming room. Bright pops of colour adorn the walls in a playful gallery wall of artwork. A bright orange floor lamp is not out of place here. Against a backdrop of white, the colourful accent decor stands out in beautiful contrast! Perfectly styled, bright and enticing, it would be hard to not feel inspired in this creative space!

Gorgeous deep blue adds richness to an eclectic kitchen. We love the mix of wood with metal and pops of bright colour that add life to this space. A complementary backsplash in shades of blue add another dimension to this space. Balance is achieved with simple grey cabinetry and a rustic table – decked out in bright florals and crockery.

The bedroom shares a similar bold, bright theme with a striking wallpaper backdrop that picks up on the various colours used in the room. Similar shades of grey, black, white and red are used on the bed and we love the floating wooden light pendants next to the bed.
