Plascon House Tour: A Riverside London Apartment
Step outside and you’ll enjoy the splendour of the River Thames but inside, this modern riverside London apartment is equally enchanting with a contemporary industrial vibe.
The large living areas are created in zones to add definition to the various living spaces. The focus is naturally, the location – on the Thames – with gorgeous views of surrounding London. The home was therefore opened up as much as possible to make the most of the amazing views. Large doors welcome natural light into the apartment and the eye is naturally drawn outward to the scenic surrounds.
The kitchen is a textural delight with industrial fittings and modern finishes. A mix of textures and materials adds to this luxe yet unrefined area. A marble clad island adds a touch of glam to this area while open shelving and ample seating gives this space a cool bar-like ambience.
The kitchen is a feature in this home. Standout pieces here include black iron-framed sliding fluted-glass panels, limed-oak shelves and a Carrara marble-clad island.
The master bedroom is restful and serene. A beautiful abstract artwork adds a punch of colour to this otherwise neutral space. A platform bed is paired with vintage looking side tables. Floor to ceiling curtains add a hint of luxury and also blends in with the wall colour throughout. Seamless and sophisticated, we love the calming effect of this master suite, and the contrast it poses to the rest of the home.
A beautiful apartment that has been designed with heart.
