Perfect Hideaway: nature-based escape
Offering a secluded, nature-based escape, Pinebeach in the quaint little village of Noordhoek, just outside of Cape Town, is a truly charming property.
Accessible via the iconic Chapman’s Peak Drive, navigating one’s way to the property is as much a part of the holiday experience as stretching out on the long verandah at sun set, both allowing visitors to soak in spectacular ocean and mountain views.
Surrounded by ancient milkwood trees and natural fynbos, the contemporary home spans two voluminous levels of polished white and exposed stone walls, with tall glass industrial doors and windows, comfy, laidback furnishings in neutral textures and tones, and quirky African artworks.
With six spacious ensuite bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen, and a living, entertaining and dining space that opens out onto a shaded verandah, the home is perfect for gatherings with family or friends.
Here, guests can amble down to the beach for a dip or surf, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, enjoy a shopping trip to the local market, visit the local brewery for a pint or two, take to the mountain trails by bike or foot, or simply laze by the magnificent pool, soaking up the sunshine and gorgeous views.
Pinebeach can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests and is fully kitted out with everything from an espresso machine to a smart TV with Netflix, outside boma and a firepit. The house is serviced once a week, with weekend servicing at an additional charge. Pets are permitted by prior arrangement.
