Breathe New Life Into Your Floors With Annie Sloan Chalk Paint

Boring wooden floors got you feeling down? Why not breathe fresh life into forgotten floorboards with Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan. It’s as easy as 1,2,3.

With no sanding or prepping required, updating your flooring is simple – “geometric shapes look fabulous and modern and are easy-peasy to create” says Annie.

  1. Start with a neutral colour for your base, then begin creating your pattern.
  2. To achieve an eye-catching design all you need is a pencil, tape measure and some masking tape to ensure sharp lines, and when applying the paint use a small brush with flat edges to help keep shapes crisp and clean at the edges.
  3. When you’re happy with the final look, seal and protect your handiwork with a thin layer of Chalk Paint™ Lacquer for added durability.

And one final tip, “this is an obvious one but – always make sure to start at the furthest point from the room to keep your handiwork in check!”
