At Salone del Mobile Sport Meets Design with Technogym Ride

Earlier this year, at Salone del Mobile 2022, Technogym, world leading brand in products and digital technologies for fitness, sport and health for wellness, presented the most innovative training solutions that combine performance and design.

With Technogym, design meets sport thanks to the brand’s unique experience as Official Supplier to the last 8 Olympics and sports champions from all over the world. Technogym Ride is the first bike – designed by the Technogym Design Centre based on the experience with professional athletes – with a 22″ screen that allows you to live an immersive indoor experience at home. With just one log-in, no installation and configuration difficulties, you can conveniently access your favourite apps and training content.  

Every cyclist dreams of riding their bike on Alpe d’Huez, in the Dolomites, or Icelandic highlands. Technogym Ride is the first bike to offer direct access to cyclists’ most loved apps, including Zwift, Strava, ROUVY, TrainingPeaks, Kinomap and Bkool; entertainment apps such as Netflix and Eurosport, and to a complete range of training programs and experiences, designed to improve your performance outdoors (or on the road).

Born out of passion

There are tens of millions of cyclists in the world. This includes 50 million in the United States alone. Technogym Ride was born from Technogym’s passion for cycling. It is designed together with cycling champions to offer a unique training experience to amateurs and professionals. The company has collaborated with cycling champions for over 30 years. This started with Gianni Bugno’s MG-Technogym professional team in the 1990s and since 2000 as Official Supplier to the Olympic Games. Furthermore, this bike is designed to simulate an outdoor cycling experience. The aim is to replicate real-world routes and inclines. The training sessions offered by Technogym Ride challenge you to reach the proper power zones and to ride using Technogym Ride gears on dozens of virtual routes. This subsequently includes the world’s most legendary hills.  

Alternatively, you can choose the exclusive TNT (Technogym Neuromuscular Training) programs. These are developed by the Technogym Research Center to improve both metabolic and neuromuscular qualities. Oryou can set up a completely customized training plan based on your personal goals.  

At the Technogym stand, visitors could experience the Personal Line, the result of the collaboration between Technogym and Antonio Citterio‘s signature design. Visitors could also check out the Technogym Bench, the design bench for the home for functional and strength training, and Unica, Technogym’s complete gym in one and a half square metres.

Personal Line

Personal Line combines acclaimed designer Antonio Citterio’s style with Technogym’s experience in fitness and wellness technologies. The products in the Personal Line are thus made with refined materials and craftsmanship of the highest level. They are designed to be placed, like beautiful pieces of furniture, in the most beautiful spaces of the home. The line includes the most iconic fitness equipment – treadmill, bike, recline, elliptical, Kinesis and Power Station.  This creates a complete home gym by integrating your favourite training products into every environment.

Technogym Bench

Technogym Bench is an all-inclusive functional training station. It has been designed to combine maximum exercise variety with minimum footprint. Furthermore, it enables you to perform the largest range of exercises for resistance, strength, and core training in a limited space, thanks to its innovative design and enclosed tools.

Unica is the iconic Technogym home multi-station that allows you to perform over 25 exercises in just one and a half square metres. Furthermore, it features an elegant design made to complement your décor. Designed and built with high-quality materials, UNICA allows you to easily perform several exercises. From chest press, shoulder press or arm curl etc. All of this can be done from the same position, thanks to the exclusive lever system. This also makes it possible to select the desired load with extreme versatility without having to replace any element.
