Annie Sloan’s Paint : Jazz up your home with a quick lick of lacquer
You’ve bought your dream house in the perfect location and now you just want to get down to the serious business of living! But your floorboards and kitchen cupboards are looking a little tired… as well as your bank balance. You need a quick and cost effective way to re-energise these high traffic areas.
Give your home an easy makeover with Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint™ and Chalk Paint™ Lacquer. Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint™ has a revolutionary formula, is environmentally friendly, Certified Kiddy Safe and is the original and worlds favourite furniture paint. There’s no need for priming or sanding.
Chalk Paint™ is as easy to use as opening the tin, dipping your brush, and applying paint to furniture! Chalk Paint Lacquer is a hard-wearing, water-based polyacrylic coating, 100% developed in South Africa and is the only sealant on the market that is developed specifically for us with Chalk Paint™. Use it for a robust finish that will withstand wear and tear – perfect for kitchen cabinets, dining tables, floors, skirting boards and more. Available in a gloss or matt finish, Chalk Paint Lacquer applies perfectly clear and dries quickly without yellowing over time, allowing for long-lasting transformations.
In this kitchen we created a modern look by using Chalk Paint™ in Antibes Green for the table and cupboards and for the wooden floor we used Chalk Paint™ in Graphite. We highlighted the gorgeous colour of the floor with an eye-catching square, painted in gloss Chalk Paint Lacquer. Sticking with a verdant pallette the chairs were repurposed with Chalk Paint™ in Amsterdam Green. Alongside her unique and hugely versatile Chalk Paint™, Annie Sloan has developed a whole range of products that will help you achieve wonderful results quickly and easily, like the Annie Sloan Detailed Brush Set which was perfect to stencil an attractive border which took our table from drab to designer.
