5 Home Design Trends We Love in 2019
As the year progresses, we’re excited about the latest trends and interior designs of 2019. Here are five of the hottest home design trends we’re seeing this year!
Velvet Finishes
Believe it or not, velvet is making a reappearance in interior design. From beautiful upholstered sofas to luxury furniture and more. We love the tactile nature of velvet and how it adds warmth to any room. We think velvet is sure to be a sought-after trend in 2019.
Oversized Florals
Floral patterns have been a round for a very long time, but this year we’re seeing bolder prints and oversized proportions making a statement in interior design. We love the look of colourful floral wallpapers and fabrics that add a punch of vibrancy to any space.
Copper Accents
Copper is both beautiful and contemporary. Used the right way, it can totally elevate any environment. In 2018, we saw rose gold filling homes, but in 2019 we’ll be seeing a lot less rose gold and a lot more copper infused into designs around the globe.
Black and White Interiors
A gorgeous yet timeless design trend, black and white furnishings will want to be on your list of trends to incorporate into your home’s decor this 2019. The visual contrast of black and white will provide a sense of balance and boldness to your home’s space. It’s sleek, modern and oh so sophisticated and we love the overall look of black and white together in any room.
Tonal Reds
Red is bold and beautiful. It is a magical accent in any room and we are super excited about this colour making its mark in 2019. The past few years we have seen designers and gravitate towards cooler colours such as blues and greens, so finally, red is here to warm things up! Tonal reds are a great way to add complimenting contrast to your home!
