Victoria + Albert’s range of volcanic limestone baths
Discover Victoria + Albert’s range of volcanic limestone baths.
Renowned worldwide for their exquisite, finely crafted luxury products, Victoria + Albert is at the forefront of international luxury bath design.
Their range of volcanic limestone baths is truly something special – and the choice for discerning homeowners and designers looking to create a stylish and grand bathroom experience.
“Volcanic Limestone™ is Victoria + Albert’s name for the very special white rock that is perfect for making baths and basins.
It is formed when the elemental forces associated with liquid magma act upon surrounding soft, chalky limestone. The immense heat and pressure from the magma transform the neighbouring rock into a new material made up of incredibly hard strands.
We blend milled Volcanic Limestone™ rock with high-quality resins to bind these strands into a complex 3D matrix. The finished result is QUARRYCAST™ – a world-class stone composite that delivers unrivalled strength, durability and beauty.”
The beauty of this material is that it allows the company to cast a smooth, seamless product.
“As the stone-rich alternative to both cast iron and acrylic it is 100% one piece, hand finished and packed with naturally desirable properties,” they explain.
Apart from the natural beauty of the product, it is easy to clean, durable (the material is twice as hard as acrylic and won’t creak or flex), has insulating properties (which means your bath water will stay warmer for longer), and is scratch and stain resistant.
With a 25-year consumer guarantee, it’s the perfect way to add lasting elegance to your bathroom design.
