Victoria + Albert Introduces the Vetralla 1800 Freestanding Bath for Spacious Luxury Bathrooms
A bath can do more than complete a bathroom; it can define it. With the introduction of the Vetralla 1800, Victoria + Albert expands one of its most beloved collections with a generously proportioned freestanding bath designed to anchor spacious interiors with spa-like calm.
Named after the historic Italian town of Vetralla in the Lazio region, the original design was introduced in 2017 by Victoria + Albert’s in-house team. Since then, the Vetralla 1500 and 1650 models have become favourites for their balance of compact proportions, deep bathing wells and gently reclined comfort. The new Vetralla 1800 builds on this foundation, offering the same elegant silhouette and ergonomic ease in a more expansive form.
Measuring 1778mm in length, the double-ended bath introduces a larger bathing well while retaining the collection’s defining characteristics: a clean, sculptural profile and a recline designed for relaxed immersion. Positioned within a spacious bathroom, it naturally becomes the centrepiece – a place where architecture, comfort and ritual meet.
The bath is crafted from Victoria + Albert’s proprietary QUARRYCAST™, a blend of Volcanic Limestone™ and high-performance resins. Naturally white and hand-finished by skilled craftsmen, the material offers durability, warmth and a refined surface quality that enhances both comfort and longevity. Each piece comes with a 25-year guarantee.
Founded in 1996, Victoria + Albert has built a global reputation for beautifully engineered freestanding baths and basins. With design and manufacturing operations spanning the United Kingdom and South Africa, the brand continues to refine the art of bathing.
With the Vetralla 1800, the collection evolves once again, offering a statement of comfort, scale and timeless design within the contemporary bathroom.
