Maharani Tiles & Bathrooms
Established in 1989, Maharani Tiles & Bathrooms boasts over three decades of industry expertise along with a distinctive brand and business approach.
“Our mission is to offer comprehensive luxury bathroom solutions to the South African market, showcasing a diverse range of wall tiles, floor slabs and bathroom essentials sourced from renowned suppliers in Europe and Asia that adhere to rigorous manufacturing standards, ensuring top-notch quality and LEED compliance,” says the owners.
Staying abreast of global tile trends is ingrained in the Maharani ethos. To offer clients the most innovative and on-trend designs, the team attends the prestigious Cersaie exhibition annually in Bologna, Italy, to see the latest collections from leading tile manufacturers.
Another key characteristic of Maharani’s business approach is the company’s focus on collaborations.
“Collaboration is key in the building and construction sphere, and we engage regularly with industry experts such as architects, interior designers, developers, contractors, and tiling professionals. Our expertise in wall tile selection is renowned, reflecting our design philosophy and positioning us as valued partners for interior designers seeking innovative solutions not only for bathrooms but also for kitchens, living spaces, bedrooms, and beyond.”
The company’s operations are anchored by a central office and warehouse in Springfield Park, Durban. Maharani also has three standalone stores across Gauteng and KZN, as well as a newly opened shop in Woodstock, Cape Town.
“Excitingly, we’ve expanded our presence to Woodstock with the launch of MT Studio, a dynamic space at The Palms on 145 Sir Lowry Road, embodying the area’s reputation as a vibrant hub of industry and design. Come visit us to experience our studio’s creative offerings firsthand.”
