Elevate the Style of Your Bathroom with a Shower Screen
The shower is more than just a functional area in the home. Today it is a place of tranquillity, style and relaxation – that one spot in your home where you can unwind, gather your thoughts and cleanse body and mind.
The trend in bathroom design is to showcase the shower for what it truly is – a space of beauty, cleanliness and style in the overall scheme of your bathroom. We’re loving the trend of frameless glass and even shower screens that make for bold, glamorous and even contemporary bathroom finishes.
Keep it simple with a monochromatic palette of white, grey and black and let your shower become a focal point with beautiful glass frame. Walk-in showers are ideal and ooze a sense of refined luxury. Modern black fixtures, along with minimalist designs are perfectly on trend in the modern bathroom, so achieve the look with a beautiful white and black colour palette and let your glass shower screen do the talking!
Instead of a conventional shower door, why not opt for a panelled glass screen such as the beautiful feature in the below bathroom. Not only does it protect the bathroom from the water splashing everywhere but it also adds to the contemporary style and colour palette of this contemporary space. Simple yet beautiful. Functional yet eye-catching!
In your smaller bathroom, a simple glass screen will not only effectively divide your space but will also make the bathroom feel bigger and more inviting. The below bathroom boasts a simple glass panel as a shower screen that separates the shower from the rest of the amenities, without fully enclosing the space. The perfect solution in a tinier bathroom or ensuite!
As a finish, glass is a timeless addition to your interior design, especially in the bathroom. A simple screen is lower maintenance, easy to clean and more stylish than a fully enclosed shower hidden behind a conventional door. Complete the modern look with beautiful subway tiles in a herringbone pattern (see below), a stylish heated towel rail and matching accessories.
