A moodboard for Duravit provides inspiration for sensuous bathroom design…
How does materiality alter the way a bathroom is perceived? A curated moodboard shows how organic forms, natural surfaces and finely coordinated colours combine to produce a calm, intimate and sensuous effect.
Duravit’s 3jet hand shower in Brushed Bronze is the composition’s centrepiece. With its warm, restrained aesthetic, it fits harmoniously into the overall material concept and provides a unifying central link between the individual elements.
Dark surfaces and muted tones lend the moodboard depth and heighten the effects of the employed surfaces and colors. (Image source: Duravit AG)
Harmony through colour
The nuanced colour spectrum is a defining aspect of the composition. It reinforces the harmonious impression and shifts the perspective towards the bathroom: away from bright rooms and towards a more intimate and emotional setting. Muted tones heighten the presence of the employed elements and impart a sense of calm and serenity, contributing to a truly sensuous bathroom design.
