Duravit: Perfectly Showcased – From a wet cell to a wellness bathroom

Strategically placed light sources can create a natural and comfortable bathroom atmosphere. Today we’re discussing how different elements work together to create a unique sense of bathroom cosiness and can emphasize a natural bathroom design. Duravit remains on the cutting edge of bathroom innovation with products that are perfectly showcased.

Duravit Vitrium Light and order: Backlit, translucent fronts made of PARSOL glass lend the furniture a light, almost floating impression and reveal the interiors of the practically ordered, aesthetically appealing drawers

The importance of light is not to be underestimated for personal wellbeing and creating a cozy atmosphere – especially during the dark season. Indirect light sources transform the familiar wet cell into the perfect wellness setting, as the bathroom increasingly becomes a haven of regeneration and relaxation. As a refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Duravit’s uniquely harmonious bathroom ranges satisfy this need for retreat and sanctuary.

Outstanding: The slightly overhanging above-counter basin made from a soft-touch cast mineral material contrasts harmoniously with the geometric shapes of the vanity unit and mirror.

Vitrium: natural material mixed with strategically placed illumination

The defining feature of Vitrium from Christian Werner is the ingenious composition of different materials: washbasins made from a soft-touch cast mineral material are paired with console vanity units sporting a fine metal frame and fronts in back-lit glass, wood, or a range of décor finishes. The natural-looking ensemble creates a harmonious atmosphere which is accentuated by indirect light sources. With the strategically positioned lighting elements, the bathroom becomes a true oasis of wellbeing. Combined with the translucent fronts made from PARSOL glass, the Vitrium furniture brings warmth to the bathroom, transforming it into a space for personal relaxation.

Timeless effect: Vitrium is a by-word for sensual bathroom rituals and transforms the room into a place of warmth and coziness.

Qatego: Linear furniture and softly rounded sanitary objects

The Qatego bathroom by Studio F. A. Porsche thrives on the harmonious dissonance between geometrically designed furniture and rounded sanitary objects. The eight colour options for the bathroom furniture set off the white ceramic. Shades range from gleaming White through natural, restrained nuances such as Taupe Matt and Basalt Matt right up to bold tones such as Graphite Matt. Wood hues complete the naturalistic colour spectrum of Qatego.

Relaxed geometry: The open shelves of the Qatego bathroom furniture break up the strict geometry and imbue the bathroom with a pleasantly warm atmosphere.

Additionally, illuminated, open shelves break up the strict geometry of the furniture and bring cosiness and transparency into the bathroom – the perfect place to showcase one’s favourite products or decorative bowls and vases.

Perfectly staged: The indirect illumination in the bathroom furniture not only creates a welcoming lighting effect, but it also presents the perfect spot to showcase favourite products and decorative objects.

Successful material mix: The ceramic washbasin perfectly complements the vanity unit. The different surfaces and colors allow for unique and harmonious combinations.
